World Health Day 2020
In the year 1950, 7th of April was declared as World Health Day by the World Health Organization. Aim of WHO is “the world in which all people enjoy the highest attainable standard of health.”
Apart From, it means to provide people with good essential healthcare services that focus on prevention, treatment, recovery, and sedative care.
Due to Coronavirus(COVID-19),On this world health day 2020 World health Organization (WHO) support Nurses,Midwives and other fellow health workers for keep us healthy.They deserve respect.
Coronavirus spread all over the world and become pandemic. In this terrible situation Nurses,Doctors,Midwives and other Health Workers are working 24/7 for keep us healthy.
According to WHO “In this International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, World Health Day will highlight the current status of nursing and around the world. WHO and its partners will make a series of recommendations to strengthen of the nursing and midwifery workforce.
We are calling for your support on World Health Day to ensure that the nursing and midwifery work forces are strong enough to ensure that everyone, everywhere gets the healthcare they need.”
In addition to, World Health Organization 2020 will launch of the first ever State of the World’s Nursing Report 2020 on this world health day.
So, support and show your respect for Nurses,Doctors,Midwives & other fellow Health Workers.Appreciate them for their work and thank them for keep us healthy in any situation.
In the past few years, the government has focused and introduced many healthcare schemes and projects.
In recent time government declared Insurance scheme for health worker who frightening against the coronavirus(COVID-19).
On March 26, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, announced a Rs 50 lakh insurance cover per person for frontline health workers involved in managing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said "The medical insurance scheme would include sanitation staff, doctors, Asha workers, paramedics and nurses. These professionals are not considering their own health risks and have been attending to Coronavirus patients."

According to World Health organization(WHO) protect yourself from Coronavirus(COVID-19 ) its by own & help to prevent the spreading coronaviruses to others.
Coronavirus Prevention:
- People cover their mouths & noses with mask or a disposable tissue.
- When coughing or sneezing
cover mouths & noses with a
disposable tissue or flexed elbow.
- Regularly wash your hands for water & soap for atleast 20 seconds.
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with atleast 60% alcohol.
- Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are seek.
- Avoid touching nose, mouth or eyes.
- Avoid direct contact with farm animals.
- Try to avoid social gathering.
