The Aarogya setu app is available on google play store or apple store for both Android and ios users.

 This app available in 11 different languages.

What is Coronavirus or COVID-19?

A Coronavirus is a one type of virus and it is found in animals. 

• Coronavirus spread through animals to humans and also spread  from one person to another person. 
• It is a large family of viruses that cause not only the common cold but also more dangerous respiratory illnesses. 

• The scientist gave the name as SARC-CoV-2 and According to WHO, the disease caused by this virus has been named COVID-19. 

• This type of virus has never been seen before.
• Coronavirus comes from the Latin word "Corona" i.e. crown or halo.
• We can not see Corona viruses through our eyes, even it's hardly visible with the help of microscope. 

• Under the microscope,the corona viruses looks like that they are covered with pointed structures and they are surrounded by corona or crown. Hence it is called “Coronavirous”.

• According to WHO, It is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. 
• Infectious disease i.e these diseases spared directly or indirectly from one person to another.
• COVID-19 was thought to be a Zoonotic disease.
• Zoonotic disease i.e. infectious dieses of animals that can cause disease when transmitted to humans. For Example, Ebola, HIV and rabies.
• Bats have wide range of zoonotic viruses. 
• It Was found that COVID-19  is 96% identical at the whole genome level to a bat Coronviruses.

How did the outbreak start? Where the virus come from?

According to resources, Coronavirus(COVID-19) First came from  a seafood & meat  market called “wet market”  in Wuhan city of China in December 2019.

After that the First case was in India on 30 January.

The wet market in Wuhan, which sold both live and dead animals, fishes and birds.

Based on Some resources this virus spread through bats.But bats have not sold in wet market. 

Till now sources can not identified that where this virus came from. 

What are symptoms of COVID-19?

• Fever

• Difficult breathing

• Sever cough

• Pneumonia

• Sore throat

• Runny nose

• Headache

• Tiredness

In addition,There are strong possibilities that the symptoms may not be identical in infected person but this doesn't stop the virus from spreading to others from that infected person.
